After 37 years with The Head Shed, Sheri’s journey has grown into a deep passion for creating a salon rooted in mentorship, community, and genuine care. With decades of industry experience, she believes a salon should feel welcoming, safe, and supportive for both guests and the team. Sheri is proud of the talented group she has built and deeply grateful for the lasting relationships that have grown alongside the salon over the years. While her books are currently closed to new clients, Sheri is always happy to welcome new faces to The Head Shed and help connect guests with the team member best suited to their needs.

With a natural eye for beautiful hair, Alexis brings warmth, skill, and creativity to every appointment. She specializes in soft, lived-in colour, dimensional blondes, vivid transformations, modern texture services, and special event styling. From long layers to polished bobs, Alexis loves creating customized looks that feel effortless, wearable, and beautifully tailored to each guest’s personal style.

With a strong background in the industry, Ashley specializes in soft, dimensional brunettes and lived-in blondes. She is passionate about creating seamless colour with natural depth and dimension, while enhancing each guest’s individual features. Ashley is particularly skilled at precision haircuts and signature blowouts, combining technical skill and attention to detail to create looks that feel effortless and refined.

Bethany combines technical expertise with a thoughtful, personalized approach to hair. She especially enjoys working with long hair and has extensive training in colour and extension services, including dimensional brunettes, vibrant blondes, seamless grey blending, and extensions. Her attention to detail helps guests achieve beautiful, customized results that suit their lifestyle and goals.

Kaidence brings a thoughtful, organized approach to her role as one of our Salon Coordinators. From keeping the day running smoothly behind the scenes to ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well looked after, she takes pride in the little details that make each visit seamless. Her kind nature and attentive approach help create the relaxed, positive experience our guests have come to expect.

Caroline brings exceptional skill, confidence, and professionalism to every appointment. Jessie also enjoys precision cutting, creative shape work, and vivid colour, as well as men’s cuts and barber-inspired styles. Joey approaches every appointment with creativity, care, and a genuine love for the craft. Known for his precision barbering and effortlessly cool cuts, he brings a sharp eye for detail and has built a loyal clientele who trust him completely. His talent has earned him recognition as one of the Top 3 Barbers in the Comox Valley Readers’ Choice Awards — a reflection of both his skill and the client experience he provides.
