Since 1973, The Head Shed has been proud to serve the Comox Valley, creating beautiful hair while building lasting relationships within our community. What began as a local salon has grown into a welcoming space where guests can feel comfortable, cared for, and confident.

Today, we are a collective team of passionate stylists and a barber, each bringing our own creativity, experience, and love for the craft behind the chair. While every team member has their own specialties and strengths, we share a commitment to delivering quality work, thoughtful service, and an exceptional guest experience. Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment is at the heart of everything we do. We believe a salon should be a place where everyone feels seen, respected, and comfortable being themselves.

Education is a cornerstone of our culture. We are committed to continuous learning, staying inspired by new techniques, trends, and innovations so we can provide current services, thoughtful consultations, and quality results. We are equally passionate about sharing knowledge within our team and supporting the growth and development of the next generation of hairstylists.
